Supplementary Conditions of Competition

 

1. Entry

1. The event is run concurrently with the daily competition and therefore entry is automatically made through the electronic booking system.
2. There is no entry fee. Entry is complimentary for all eligible Members of the FGC.

• Member categories eligible to enter are 7 day, 6 day, 5 day, Veteran, Super Veteran, Life, Age based, Junior and Flexible.

 

2. Format

1. The event is held twice yearly and runs from January 1st to June 30th and July 1st to December 31st, inclusive.
2. Competition day’s counting for eclectic results are Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Saturday’s.

• The event is conducted on individual stroke play competitions only.

1. On completion of each round a player’s hole by hole net scores will be compared with their previous results and the best net score that the player has achieved on any given hole will be recorded in their Eclectic history for the six month period.

 

3. Rules

1. The event will be conducted according to the Rules of Golf including the Flinders Golf Cub (FGC) General Conditions of Competitions and Local Rules.
2. Handicaps are to be the Daily Handicap applicable to Men & Women under the WHS.

• Where the word“Committee” is used in this, or any of the Rules Documents, it will mean the Golf Committee of the FGC whose decisions will be final and binding on all competitions

 

4. General Information

1. Members can view the leaderboard under ‘My Information’ on the website.
2. Prizes for both men and Women:

Best Gross:               $50                 Runner Up :   $25

Best Nett:                   $50                 Runner Up    $25

• In the event of a tie, prizes to be divided evenly.
